Staying at muskrat creek shelter with a ton of people, all thrus. Once again, my speed has given me a reputation and people had heard of me before meeting me again, ha! I crossed my first state line today, NC at 78 miles! The “welcome” into NC was an absolutely brutal hill that went up and up and up! It was a rough climb at the end of the day for sure! I’m physically tired today, a first for me on this trip. Hoping that tomorrow’s topography is true to the book and not as tough! Hoping to be in Franklin in 2 days!
