Since it’s springtime now and there’s still snow on the ground, I daydream about going back to Maine for a hike. I took this photo hiking southbound on the AT in 2013. This was a beautiful day hike. I miss Maine every day.

I think it’s a great idea to hold reckless hikers accountable for their SAR fees. It’s one thing if you’re hurt, but being stupid is a whole other thing!
